Why you're not progressing
Most training programs weren't built for your body.

The majority of exercise science was built on male physiology. The problem is that those findings became the foundation of almost every training system that followed. So women have spent decades being handed programs that were never built around the way they adapt, recover, gain strength, or learn skills.

Most women plateau in BW Strength Training because they keep doing more of the thing that stopped working months ago. The problem isn't how hard they’re training. It's that generic programs don't know when to push, when to pull back, or how to work with the way women actually adapt to training.

Pillar 01
Load Intelligence
Load drives adaptation. The challenge isn't applying more load, it's applying the right load. Load Intelligence is the ability to identify the right progression that drives the next adaptation.
Pillar 02
Signal Intelligence
Progress requires both safety and stimulus. Too much challenge and the nervous system shifts into protection. Too little and there is no reason to adapt. Signal Intelligence is the ability to identify where that line sits and adjust accordingly.
Pillar 03
Timing Intelligence
The body has patterns. So does life. There are periods where progress comes easily, periods where you coast, and periods where you push but nothing happens. Timing Intelligence is the ability to recognise those patterns and work with them.

I'm Shimi. I've been coaching women's bodyweight strength training for over 15 years. Axis Theory™ is the framework I built because nothing that already existed did what I needed it to do.
The health & fitness industry has a research problem. Almost everything we know about strength training, load management, and skill acquisition comes from studies conducted on male bodies. Women have been adapting to that default - and not tapping into their full strength potential.
While things are changing now, Axis Theory™ is what I built in response to a system that was failing women - a training framework designed from first principles for female physiology, and tested across hundreds of women inside these walls.
MatriarX® is the system that framework powers. The levels, the skill pathway, the competition series - all of it runs on the same engine (Axis Theory). And Bodyweight Brigade is my lab, where it all lives.
