Why this structure?

Most gyms offer programs. We offer a system.

Axis Theory™ is the training framework built specifically for female physiology. MatriarX® is the ecosystem it powers - the levels, the skill pathway, the competition series all run on the same engine, which means every session you do inside any part of the system is building something the next part requires.

A program tells you what to do. A system tells you why, tracks how your body responds, and uses that data to determine what comes next. There are three levels because the data shows that skipping stages creates gaps that show up later in your training journey the form of plateaus and injuries.

You don't need to figure out which level you belong in. That's our job. Start with the trial and we'll tell you exactly where you are and what comes next.

The Lab


Small group classes · Open enrolment · Entry point into the system

"I want to get strong and learn this properly."

The Lab is where every BWB athlete starts. It’s our small group training program run in 8-12 week training blocks. It’s designed to help women build strength, learn skills and make consistent progress in bodyweight training.

Most women come to us after spending years working out, doing classes and sessions that didn’t give them the progress they wanted. They were given scaled exercises instead, when what they need is a progression map that connected to a specific goal.

Whether that goal is your first chin up, a freestanding handstand, more upper body strength or simply feeling stronger and more capable in your body, The Lab is designed to develop the strength, movement quality and foundational skills that make those goals possible.

What you're building in The Lab:

  • Strength: functional, transferable strength built specifically for bodyweight strength / calisthenics progression

  • Skills: hand balances, chin ups, levers and other calisthenics skills developed through clear progressions 

  • Foundations: the positions, movement capacity and physical prerequisites that advanced skills are built on

  • Progression Maps: a strategic map of where you are, where you’re going, and what needs to be built next

The PROGRAM

"I've been training. Now i’m ready for the next level."

The The Program is where Axis Theory™ starts working at an individual level. You've built the base in The Lab. Now your training becomes more targeted, more specific and more closely aligned with the goal you're working towards.

Whether it’s a press handstand, muscle up or any of the advanced bodyweight strength skills, every athlete receives an individual training program built around her goals, strengths, limitations and training history.

Between one on one reviews, video feedback, direct messaging and face to face coaching, support is always within reach. Our highest touch training option outside of private coaching.

Can’t make the coached group times? Train independently at BWB with gym access.

What changes at Level 02:

Training becomes more individualised. Your program is built around your specific goals, strengths, limitations and training history, with ongoing support through one on one reviews, video feedback, direct messaging and face to face coaching. Progress is measured against clear markers, and skill development becomes far more precise. Nothing vague like "work towards a handstand", but understanding exactly where you are, what's missing and what comes next.

LEVEL 03

The INTENSIVE


mastery · 1:1 coaching · Invite only

"I have a specific goal. I want the full system behind me to get there."

The Intensive is the highest level of support Bodyweight Brigade offers. You are here because you have a specific outcome - a skill, a strength standard, a competition goal, a performance target, injury rehab - and you need everything the system has to offer pointed directly at it.

At this level, your coach is working with you 1:1. Every session has a clear purpose within a longer arc. Every training decision is made with the full picture of your data, your history inside the system, and your specific goal in view.

The Intensive is about the system operating at its highest resolution on a single target.

What The Intensive includes:

  • Fully customised programming built around a single outcome

  • Regular one on one coaching sessions

  • Ongoing coach communication and feedback between sessions

  • Full gym access for independent training

  • Progress tracked against clearly defined performance markers

Entry:

Invitation only. Available to women who have progressed through The Lab and Program Track and are ready to commit to a clearly defined goal.

The 1 week trial is the entry point for every new BWB member. It gives you full access to The Lab - classes, coaching and the actual system - before you commit to anything.

By the end of the week, you'll know exactly where you sit in the Axis Theory progression and what the right next step is for your body. We'll tell you. That's part of what the trial is for.
