WHY THIS EXISTS
The problem we're solving
Most coaches are taught exercises and progressions. Very few are taught how to think.
Most calisthenics coaching certifications expand your exercise library. They teach assessments, progressions and programming principles.
The problem is that athletes (especially female) don't arrive with a textbook attached to them.
Axis Theory™ was built to solve that problem. It is a thinking system that teaches coaches how to identify what is actually limiting progress, how to map a pathway towards a specific outcome and how to make decisions to guarantee results.
The goal isn't to memorise more exercises. It's to understand the principles well enough that your coaching is no longer limited by the exercises you know.
Because great coaching is built on decision making, not exercise selection.

WHAT COACH CODE IS
The certification
Coach Code: The Axis Theory™ professional certification.
Coach Code is the professional certification that teaches coaches how to apply Axis Theory™.
Over 15 years of coaching women, Axis Theory™ evolved into a methodology for understanding strength, skill acquisition and progression through the lens of female physiology. It is the engine that powers every athlete pathway inside the MatriarX® system.
Coach Code takes coaches inside that engine.
Through a combination of theory, application and case based learning, coaches learn the principles that underpin the system and how to apply them to the athletes they work with.
Coaches who complete Coach Code leave with:
A thorough understanding of Axis Theory™ across all three pillars: Load Intelligence, Signal Intelligence, and Timing Intelligence
The ability to build, assess, and adjust Bodyweight Strength programs for women in the context of female physiology
A framework for reading training data and correcting the specific patterns that produce plateaus in women's training

The curriculum
Three pillars. One complete methodology.
Coach Code covers the full Axis Theory™ framework across its three foundational pillars. Each pillar is taught at two levels - theoretical understanding and practical application - because knowing the principle is not the same as being able to apply it inside a real program for a real body.
Pillar 01
Load Intelligence
The science and application of load management for female physiology within Bodyweight Strength. How women absorb training stress differently from the male default model. How to build, periodise, and adjust load across training phases. How to read load tolerance and what to do when the data tells you the program needs to change.
Pillar 02
Signal Intelligence
The study of nervous system safety. Learning how safety, threat, confidence and trust influence output, adaptation and skill acquisition. Because the nervous system ultimately decides how much strength, balance, mobility and coordination the body is willing to express. Signal Intelligence teaches coaches how to create the conditions required for athletes to perform at their highest level. **
Pillar 03
Timing Intelligence
The most advanced pillar of Axis Theory™. Timing Intelligence explores the relationship between timing, adaptation and performance. While Load Intelligence focuses on what to train and Signal Intelligence focuses on creating the conditions for adaptation, Timing Intelligence examines when adaptation is most likely to occur. **
**Coach Code introduces only the foundational concepts for Signal and Timing intelligence.

Coach Code runs in small cohorts. Here's why.
Coach Code isn't a self paced certification.
Axis Theory™ is a system for making decisions. Learning it requires more than watching videos and completing worksheets. Coaches need opportunities to apply the principles, work through real athlete scenarios and receive feedback on their thinking.
That's why Coach Code is delivered in small cohorts.
Throughout the certification, coaches work through case studies, programming challenges and athlete assessments while receiving direct feedback from Shimi and the wider group.
The result is more than a certification - It's a network of coaches who share a common language, methodology and approach to training.

What the accreditation means.
Coaches who complete Coach Code become AXIS certified coaches, demonstrating a working understanding of the Axis Theory™ methodology and its application to female Bodyweight Strength athletes.
Certification marks the beginning of your journey as a coach inside the system.
As Axis Theory™ evolves, accredited coaches will continue to receive access to new case studies from The Lab, methodology updates and future education opportunities.
Because one coach applying the system well can change an athlete's training. Hundreds of coaches applying it well can change the standard of women's bodyweight strength training.
